R.I.P.: Organic Creator Outreach for the Early Access Launch
Cloutboost ran opt-in organic creator outreach for 2P Games around the Early Access launch of R.I.P., reporting 100,000 copies sold within the first month.
Case in 60 seconds
2P Games needed Western awareness for R.I.P., an unreleased Early Access title from debut developer Warmcore Studio Games, with no existing Western profile and a budget too limited for traditional advertising.
The campaign appears to turn on genre behaviour the page names directly, because roguelite and looter-shooter audiences discover titles through creator recommendation, which makes a creator's relevance worth more than the scale of their following.
The organizing principle was to put the game only in front of creators who actually wanted to play it, so keys went to creators who opted in and coverage carried no sponsorship obligation.
Through Cloutboost Portal the team contacted 1,681 genre-matched creators, invited each to opt in, and distributed 226 Steam keys to those who expressed interest, tracking outreach and content in one platform. Coverage ran on YouTube and Twitch as first impressions, tier lists, playthroughs, short-form clips and streams, with Steam Next Fest creators re-engaged at Early Access alongside paid influencer activations and paid social.
Cloutboost reports 67 creators activated and 141 pieces of content, with 643.6K YouTube views, 13,126 likes, 2,587 average concurrent Twitch viewers, a peak of 3,154, and 100,000 copies sold within the first month of Early Access.

Why Cloutboost's strategy worked
- 1
Seeding at a demo moment builds a warm list for launch, because creators who covered the game during Steam Next Fest in October 2025 needed no reintroduction and could publish as soon as Early Access opened.
- 2
Opt-in distribution filters for intent rather than reach, since 226 keys issued against 1,681 contacts left only creators who asked for the game, which is the condition Cloutboost credits for repeat coverage.
- 3
Volume among mid-tier creators can pull unpaid attention from larger ones, because coverage reached a level at which LIRIK, fps_shaka and DatModz picked the game up independently, adding 37,000 average concurrent viewers.
- 4
A core loop that produces shareable moments sustains coverage without contracts, which is the pattern behind creators publishing 18+ videos and one creator's 4 videos reaching a combined 310,000 views.
