About the campaign

Huggies DryNites had new clinical claims, "Up to 100% leak-free" and "Clinically proven for a better night's sleep", but bedwetting is treated as embarrassing, so parents stay quiet, and that silence works against the supportive home environment that helps children grow out of it. The brand had never used influencer marketing to reach parents on social. Bottle's read was that parents speak up about taboo topics when they see other parents doing it first, so creator content that models the conversation invites the community to share its own experiences.

Bottle took DryNites into influencer marketing for the first time, using mum influencers and scripted UGC to normalise bedwetting across the brand's three planned 2024 peaks of awareness, sampling and conversion. Three mum influencers, including Kelly Medina Enos and The Konadu Family, opened the conversation on TikTok and Instagram; the best performer was re-signed with two new creators to demo the free-sample sign-up; and a final peak paired two top influencers with six scripted UGC creators, with the brand repurposing content from its own profiles for a month.

Phasing a first programme against distinct peaks let each phase carry its own brief and metric, while a test-and-learn loop selected the roster. Activity ran on TikTok and Instagram. Bottle reports 34.4k social engagements, 9.2m social impressions and 48k click conversions, including 41.3k website clicks in the sampling peak; figures are agency self-reported activity measures, with no disclosed sample sign-ups, sales or baseline against the concurrent above-the-line campaign, so the programme's commercial contribution cannot be isolated.

Case in 60 seconds

Huggies DryNites had new clinical claims, "Up to 100% leak-free" and "Clinically proven for a better night's sleep", but bedwetting is treated as taboo, and the brand had never used influencer marketing to reach parents on social.

Being open with your child about bedwetting creates a positive, supportive environment that helps them grow out of it, so creators who normalise the conversation can unlock engagement other formats cannot.

Educate and empower: use mum influencers and UGC creators to make bedwetting a normal parenting topic, phased against the brand's three planned peaks of awareness, sampling and conversion.

Strategy Breakdown

The primary strategy-learning section — interpretation, not a press-release summary.

Parents of children who experience night-time accidents, reached through relatable mum influencers in the parenting community on TikTok and Instagram.
Bedwetting is common but treated as embarrassing, so parents stay quiet, and the silence works against the supportive home environment that helps children grow out of it.
DryNites needed to move from being an unmentioned product to the go-to solution for night-time accidents, and to capture market share from competitors while converting attention into sample sign-ups.
The brand backed its new clinical claims by funding open, authentic conversations about bedwetting rather than only pushing product messaging, then made trial easy with a free-sample promotion.
Parents speak up about taboo topics when they see other parents doing it first, so creator content that models the conversation invites the community to share its own experiences.

Why Bottle's strategy worked

  1. 1

Phasing a first influencer programme against planned brand peaks (awareness, sampling, conversion) let each phase carry a distinct brief and metric instead of one generic ask.

  2. 2

A test-and-learn loop selected the roster: the best-performing creator from the awareness peak was re-signed for the sampling push.

  3. 3

Negotiating a month of brand repurposing and amplification rights extended the value of creator content beyond the original posts.

  4. 4

Treating a taboo subject with authentic creator voices invited parents to share their own experiences rather than just view an ad.

  5. 5

Pairing a small influencer roster with six scripted UGC creators scaled the content bank once the approach was proven, supporting the campaign's largest phase impressions.
