Coop x Kingfluencers Campaign

Influencer Marketing

About the campaign

Coop is one of two retailers that dominate Swiss grocery, and the work Kingfluencers does for it is not brand introduction but brand maintenance. The portfolio in question is Coop's own private labels, Ünique, Prix Garantie, Karma, Fine Food, Naturaplan, Naturaline and Miini Region, which sit on the shelf beside the branded goods they compete with. The relationship dates to 2017, and in 2022 it was restructured from discrete campaigns into a yearly format, on the reasoning that private label familiarity decays in the gaps between bursts.

The 2024 structure paired continuous always-on presence with activations timed to the moments that actually move a Swiss grocery basket: Veganuary, grill season, Raclette and Fondue season, and Christmas. Twenty-eight influencers were engaged, 6 micro, 12 mid-tier and 10 macro, publishing 84 posts as stories, reels and TikTok videos. The grill campaign, hung on Coop's "Tsch Tsch" slogan, handed creators full creative freedom, so the products appeared inside their own cooking rather than in a prescribed demonstration.

Running one roster against a fixed seasonal calendar is what makes the always-on claim more than a label, because the same creators return at each moment and the audience accumulates familiarity rather than meeting a new cast each time.

Kingfluencers reports 5M impressions, 3.3M reach and 59K engagements for the 2024 grill campaign specifically, and 28 influencers across 84 posts for the year. Coop's social media advertising lead is quoted on content quality and creator fit. The page does not publish annual totals for 2024, gives no figures for the other three seasonal moments, and states no conversion outcome despite listing conversion among the objectives. All figures are self-reported.
