Baloise x Kingfluencers Campaign
Influencer MarketingAbout the campaign
younGo by Baloise is household insurance aimed at people under 30, sold on being the cheapest in Switzerland and validated by a Comparis label. The audience is at a specific moment, moving out of a family home for the first time, and the category obstacle is not price resistance but postponement, since household cover is the kind of purchase that waits indefinitely. Switzerland adds a second complication, because that audience sits across German, French and Italian speaking regions with different creators and different media habits.
Kingfluencers, working with Baloise since 2022, ran the campaign as #VersicherungDiePasst and anchored it to a comparison the audience could price instantly, that the cover costs less than a streaming subscription and takes less effort to set up than ordering food online. Eleven influencers were activated, 3 micro, 4 mid-tier and 4 macro, publishing 25 posts on Instagram and TikTok over two months. Content ran as street interviews, sketches and practical demonstrations, addressed separately to individuals, couples and shared flats.
Casting across all three language regions rather than treating German-speaking Switzerland as the default is what let a single national product claim land as a local one, and the flat-share framing gave the campaign a living arrangement to talk about rather than an abstract policy.
Kingfluencers reports more than 2.2M impressions, 38.12% above forecast, more than 1.9M reach, 52% above forecast, and 15.9K engagements at a 2.8% engagement rate from 25 posts. Baloise's senior online marketing manager is quoted calling it a success story. The page states reach two ways, as more than 1.9M in its summary and as 1.83M in its conclusion, and all figures are self-reported without the underlying forecasts.
