Maria A. Rodriguez spent more than a decade working in journalism and strategic communications before joining Open Influence. While completing her master’s degree at the University of Southern California, she produced a documentary called 'The Power of Online Influencers' that explored how everyday people were transforming media and commerce. After screening the film she was offered a role at Open Influence by co‑founder Eric Dahan. Today Maria leads marketing and communications for the agency, positioning it as a trusted partner for Fortune 500 brands and elevating the voices of creators. She develops thought‑leadership content, manages PR and social media, and believes in harnessing creators’ creativity to build genuine communities. Her storytelling background allows her to translate complex trends into compelling narratives that inspire brands to embrace influencer marketing.

Created multimedia content for the website of Noticias MundoFOX, the nightly broadcast for the Spanish-language network, MundoFox, co-owned by News Corporation's Fox International Channels and RCN Television. Multimedia perspective involves the convergence of text, graphics, audio, and video, and the distribution of these assets through social media. I developed critical thinking, information literacy, and the ability to work with Web 2.0 technologies.
