Danielle Whittaker is Influencer Marketing Manager at Myprotein, part of The Hut Group (THG). She leads the brand’s influencer strategy across multiple markets, partnering with athletes, fitness creators and wellness advocates to showcase Myprotein’s science-led products and inspire communities. With a background in digital marketing and a passion for health and fitness, Danielle joined THG to scale Myprotein’s ambassador program and experiment with new formats like live workouts and challenge-based campaigns. She collaborates closely with product development and e-commerce teams to align content with launches and promotional cycles, ensuring creators feel like long-term partners rather than paid spokespeople. Prior to THG she worked in social media and PR roles at consumer brands where she learned the power of storytelling through genuine voices. Danielle advocates for diversity and inclusivity in influencer marketing and loves engaging with micro-creators who share authentic wellness journeys.

My time at Rebellious Fashion was within the position of International outreach and social media executive. I worked with influencers from around the world by utilising social media to expose the Rebellious brand to an international market. Influencer Outreach duties included and were not limited too: - Researching and contacting brand relevant bloggers and influencers - Knowing the consumer and ensuring the brand was working with the right people - Building relationships with bloggers of every scale - Creating lasting partnerships with them/ negotiating rates - Finding new and upcoming influencers - Work with influencers to schedule and create strong social posts - Researching current clothing and styling trends Social media - Creating relevant content for the target audience - Creating aesthetic but product driven social profiles - Being in the know on relevant pop culture - Ensuring the brand is represented In a positive manner - Live tweeting relevant events - Created and ran the brand’s Pinterest page. An excellent opportunity which allowed me to learn more about a popular and growing fashion brand as well as grow my current skills and knowledge of fashion, photography and much more. Daily tasks ranged from photo shoot preparation to image processing and coding.
