BPCM
At BPCM, my main duties included helping Account Executives with day-to-day tasks and assisting in the showroom. This consisted of anything from research, press clippings, assisting with stylist and celebrity pulls, and organizing the showroom. Through this internship, I quickly learned how public relations works in the fashion industry by being fully immersed in the firm.

Taco Bell
While working as the Public Relations Intern at Taco Bell Corporate, Danielle was immersed into the Public Relations team while also collaborating with the broader Brand Experience Team at the company. Her daily activities included writing press releases, monitoring and sharing daily news and trends, working with major media representatives, conducting research, and working on various projects. Amongst these projects included writing an internal story on the female executive team members, planning an anniversary event, writing a post for the Taco Bell blog, updating the company-wide fact sheet, and assisting with product launches. This internship not only advanced her knowledge in public relations, but also gave her experience in working with other teams in a large corporation.
Stem, Inc.
As the Marketing and Communications Intern at Stem, I developed a tracking system and processes for customer-based marketing such as case studies, testimonials and references. Additionally, I also wrote profiles for a number of customers to be published on the Stem website for marketing purposes. I also built out a number of content pieces for email campaigns, blog posts, and slide decks.
Japanese Tea Garden
My responsibilities included serving and making tea and light snacks in the tea house. I learned how to work a cash register as well as how to waitress. Due to the tea house being a popular tourist attraction, I interacted with many people from different countries and learned how to communicate with them.
Relished
As a social media intern for a fashion wholesale and retail company, I learned how public relations techniques apply to the fashion industry. My job entailed creating social media campaigns, styling outfits for editorials, writing on the blog, and product naming and describing. I gained a lot of knowledge on how fashion and public relations work together, as well as product development, e-commerce, and the workings of a wholesale business. One of my accomplishments that I am proud of from this experience was gaining roughly 1,000 followers on their Pinterest during my time there.
Ajenda Public Relations
At this internship, I was given three clients to work with. My main responsibilities included managing their social media accounts, writing pitches, editing press releases and conducting research. In addition, I learned how to create a press kit, press hits, and the basics of media relations. I also had the opportunity to work events, which aided my experience in event planning.
